Two Southern kids who fell in love in San Francisco and are replanting roots in the Southeast with their cat, dog and soon-to-be first born baby.

A Brief History

We met on a rainy San Francisco night at Brass Tacks in Hayes Valley in 2017. When Brandon broke his number one dating rule - drinks only on the first date - and asked Brady if she wanted to grab dinner that night, it was all over from there. Two years later, we were married.

After nearly 3 years in a cozy 650 sq. ft. apartment in Laurel Heights, we decided to bid San Francisco farewell and packed it all up to head back to the Southeast. Bluff City, TN to be exact, which is about 15 minutes outside of Bristol, home to the “World’s Fastest Half Mile” NASCAR track.

At the time this blog is being created, we’re living in an apartment that belongs to Brady’s grandmother, a special apartment in which two other “newlywed couple” family members have lived over the last 80+ years (at the same farm where we got married). Where we’ll end up is still to be determined…maybe here in Bristol, maybe in NC or VA, maybe somewhere we haven’t dreamed of yet…
